Push and pull faces. Grab an edge and fillet it. Nothing asks you to plan a feature tree before you know what you are making, and nothing breaks three steps later because an early sketch moved.
Private beta · macOS
Smew is a direct 3D modeller for people who want to make a part, not learn a parametric tree. Sketch a profile, pull it into a solid, fillet the edge you can see. Export something your slicer respects.

Push and pull faces. Grab an edge and fillet it. Nothing asks you to plan a feature tree before you know what you are making, and nothing breaks three steps later because an early sketch moved.
Draw loosely, then pin what matters — coincident, tangent, equal, dimension. The solver settles the rest, so a rough profile becomes an exact one without redrawing it.
Describe the part and Smew's assistant performs the operations itself — it does not write you a list of steps to follow by hand. Run it against a local model on your own machine, or connect your own API key.
Per-face colour and surface finish, relief and lithophane tools for turning an image into geometry. What you see shaded is what the exporter writes.
STEP for the next CAD package, STL and 3MF for the printer, OBJ and glTF for everything else. Mesh density you control, so a curve stays a curve.
Smew speaks the Model Context Protocol, so assistants like Claude can read and drive the document directly — the same tool surface the in-app assistant uses.
Smew is a Mac app today. The others are being built, and the beta is what decides their order.
The modelling kernel and interface are already cross-platform. The build is in progress.

Smew is not yet notarised with Apple — that needs a paid developer account we have not bought until the beta says it is worth it. So macOS will refuse the first launch. Nothing is wrong with your Mac.
The same steps are in Read Me First on the disk image.
Anything that crashes, hangs or loses your work comes first. After that, anything you expected to do and could not find, and any export your slicer mangles.
In the app, Help → Send Feedback attaches the session log and shows you exactly what it contains before anything is sent.
